Below is the list of what you will need

 

Medical Personnel

  • Medical Provincial Registration Licence. Please note: You must be registered with the Alberta College of Paramedics or the Emergency Medical Assistants Licensing Board (in BC) to work as an EMR, PCP, or ACP.
  • If you are registered in BC you must have a valid Paramedic in Industry (PII) or OFA III to work as a registered EMR, PCP or ACP as per WorkSafe BC Regulations
  • HCP CPR or Level C CPR.
  • Common Safety Orientation
  • H2S Alive (Energy Safety Canada)
  • Class 5 (or equivalent) Driver’s license.
  • Current clean 3 years drivers abstract.
  • Current clean criminal record check.

 

Safety Personnel

  • Standard First Aid and BC equivalent.
  • Level C CPR.
  • Common Safety Orientation
  • H2S Alive (Energy Safety Canada)
  • Confined Space and Basic Rescue
  • Detection and Control of Flammable Substances
  • Class 5 (or equivalent) Driver’s license.
  • Current clean 3 years drivers abstract.
  • Current clean criminal record check.
  • Other industrial safety tickets will vary depending on position requirements
